Access to Alpenglow is via Arctic Valley Road, which is owned by the US Army. During times of heightened security, restrictions may apply. It is important to note that since our beginning in the 1940s, we have never had a special event cancelled due to security road closure.

Daily the road is open to the public, but closed each evening. Arrangements can be made for late night special events. In the past, during times of heightened security, special private events have provided a guest list for the bottom of the road (Moose Run Golf Course). It may become necessary to register guests with the US Army prior to an event. However, to date, this has not been required for a private event.

We have a convenient turnaround area at the front door for easy access by guests, and for easy unloading of equipment by catering staff and musicians.
